This was given to me so I have no idea of its age etc. I can't see any brand names on the knib (just says Radium), the barrel or the clip. It's fairly weighty and IIMG_8014.jpg.e2fef6856e95f1d30536d44d1c0fcab5.jpgIMG_8015.jpg.162c6ae75cc75e7940ac5578e68ba6cb.jpg'd like to be able to restore the missing bit on the end of the cap and also buy the right size cartridges so I can use it!

I think it's the way the light is catching it that makes it look triangular. It's a round pen. No markings that I can see on the trim, other than an abstract pattern.

Not sure of the brand but it is highly likely that the cartridge with be an International short.

  • 2 weeks later...

My guesses are this is a Ted Lapidus model, and that the nib reads iridium, not radium (would otherwise be a dangerous pen... 😁). These pens are made in Germany (although they often are marked as Ted Lapidus Paris). Ted Lapidus also sells cologne

I think you're right.  I've now seen this particular trompe l'oeil on a number of pens I know to have round cross-sections.
