Memory Effect

Recommended Posts

Had switched to the ebonite and acrylics from Gama, ASA, Airmail / Wality with their screw in caps since a couple of months. Today I had Parker Frontier (Luxor version) and ASA Athlete with me at office. Office boy came to give me something and take acknowledgement on a sheet. Took out my pen and started turning the cap. It was not opening !!!!

Ha, I had  taken out from my pocket the Frontier with the pull out cap not Athlete 😳.  Result of everyday use of Desi pens 😊

Regards

That was most considerate of him. Twisting the cap won't damage a pull out cap, but pulling out may damage the threads of a threaded cap.

You are lucky.

If you are to be ephemeral, leave a good scent.

I've had people say, "It's a pull off cap!" to me at pen club meetings, when people are passing around their latest acquisitions.  But, like txomsy said -- it's better to be safe than sorry....

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."
