Connaisseur expoded view.  The Conaisseur is just a No Nonsense with fancy trim and a white dot.

 

Top - white dot, clip, cap band  and at far right the brass plug to add weight to the pen. The closeup shows the top disc.

Bottom - top button, top trim ring/disc, cap, barrel trim ring, barrel, button  trim ring/disc and bottom button. 

 

The edge of the discs on the cap and barrel showed up as a trim ring, but they were machined to fit into the end of the cap or barrel and were glued in place, and the button snapped on, but was also glued on.

Talk about getting a promotion, from school pen to "premium" with a few plated brass accents and a 14k nib!

 

...If only Sheaffer had just been able to make the upscale variant's section as trouble-free as the basic one
