Leaky Conid minimalistica

Hello,

 

I have a Conid AVDA whose seal is no longer functional.
The ink goes through the stem and out the back of the pen, and the pen is obviously suffering from icontinence.

 
- Any idea what type of seal to use to replace the faulty one?
- Where can I get this seal ?

However, I will not be ordering from them. For a $2 seal there's a $45 shipping charge.... .

Or go to a hardware store and purchase the sizes illustrated in the provided link.

I've contacted Conid, but the site doesn't seem to be active any more, so we'll see. I also sent an email to Penworld.

 

For the seal, after inspection with a magnifying glass we can see that it's not an O-ring but an X-ring. As you can see on the demonstrator, there are 2 lines. An O-ring would have one line instead of 2. I'll measure the dimensions of this seal to see what's available and from whom.

 

I'll continue my research.
