Anybody out there with a Matthew Chen (or other) Uranagi nib?

I'm about to send mine back, would like feedback from anyone who uses one on the regular before I decide if I want a fix/replace or a swap for something else.

And here I am with more feedback about this nib. I've installed it on the Newton Majestic for which I bought it. Inked it up with De Atrementis Aubergine diluted 20% with DA dilution fluid. Might be able to go to 50% and still have excellent color but that's a different topic for a different forum :D

First, I sent my Uranagi nib to Matthew to have touch-up. No matter how lightly I wrote, the nib was a digger on ascenders. It came back a few days ago and is a much happier writer. It is not *quite* as fine on the obverse but is now very smooth. It still has a hint of feedback, which is fine. Still requires a light hand. Fairly dry writer.

Reverse writing is a treat! The line is somewhat wider than a Kaweco medium, not as wide as a Kaweco broad. The pen is also a VERY dry writer on reverse, which I like a whole bunch. Decent line variation, writes well at a variety of angles even if the operator does not.

Please excuse my crummy photography skills. There's a much better photo of a Uranagi nib on Matthew's website. IMG_0001.thumb.jpg.a1d68a3b0cf6e78c9a848c1bc811890b.jpg
