I bought a few pens from Amazon Japan this year as well.  Mostly Sailor Realos and Platinum Presidents.  The great deals seemed to have stopped,  however. Hopefully, they will come back at some point.

Last chance!!!  Back on Endless Pens as Pre-order, but you must complete the purchase by July 31, 11:59 EST in the US.  Expected delivery in October.  You get a 10% discount when you add it to your cart.  Add the discount code STARS for an additional 20% discount, and the total price is $386.

Nope, still waiting.

Ditto.

Once the month turns, I am going to send them a query to see if they have any information about a new delivery date.

I did that as part of a longer email & received no response to that question.  Maybe you will have better luck.

I am number 3 waiting.

And what a wonderful day it will be when it arrives!

People always bring up the La Couronne debacle as a reason to stay away from pre-pay.  But unlike Europe, India and a few other places, in the US we buy, overwhelmingly, by credit card, or maybe Paypal, which provides us with 6 months of warranty.  When La Couronne closed, I had my money back within a few days.  I simply make sure I never let any pre-purchase drag on beyond 6 months, and we all bought in July.

I got an answer (and on a Saturday, no less). The pens are due in two shipments. They will receive the first shipment in 7 to 10 days (not sure if that's working days or calendar days). The second batch (including mine) will be received early in December. They are fulfilling the orders in the order received.

Well, Heard back as well. And have now requested to cancel it. I am now officially done giving them interest-free loans for months on end.

Placed the initial order, with an estimated date of September. Then it became October first week. Then early November. Now it's' "sometime in December". I think I am now officially done with Endless. They could not deliver on my Pelikan M1000 Renaissance Brown pre-order as well, and said they had no confidence they could source it. So had to cancel the order, and get from another source.

Today I received an email from Endless Pens that my KOP (Sunlight from the Ocean Floor, special edition) "has shipped" via USPS. Nice to know.

Today, USPS is saying the pen will arrive on the day after Christmas. So a box in the mail for Boxing Day. How appropriate.

Same. But I won't feel any better about it until the pen arrives. I came close to cancelling my order several times.

I don't mind waiting. I was a happy Massdrop community member (and defender) back in the day. But the repeated delays and lack of meaningful updates wore out my patience.

I do understand your view on this.  They could certainly do better.  But as a very long time client of Endless Pens, I have always found them responsive to my emails.  But I am not overly trusting.  I reminded them I would need to cancel the order before I blew through the six month claim period for Paypal.  With dozens of orders with them, I've never had to wait this long before.
