I do understand your view on this.  They could certainly do better.  But as a very long time client of Endless Pens, I have always found them responsive to my emails.  But I am not overly trusting.  I reminded them I would need to cancel the order before I blew through the six month claim period for Paypal.  With dozens of orders with them, I've never had to wait this long before.

Do they honor their 99 policy? Or do we have to request?

99-Day Promise for Regular Pre-Orders

We will ship all Pre-Orders within 99 days. If we do not ship your Pre-Order item(s) within that time frame, you may choose the following options:

  • Wait for the pre-order and receive an additional 10% cash refund or Store Credit of the value of the pen.
  • Cancel the Pre-Order and receive 100% refund.

In my case they shipped it exactly on the 99th day. 😅

Mind you their 99-day policy applies even when the pre-order promises an earlier ship date.

Which, now that I think about it, is the main reason for my frustration.

I am going to base future pre-order purchasing decisions based solely on the 99-day policy, not whatever date they are promising.

I’ve had good experiences with Endless on all purchases, although, frustrating to wait and then the shipping and tax, etc. Great price on the KOP, they’re now there for pre-order at $536. What I don’t understand, for what it’s worth (little ) is how they get to the list of $670? I thought it was much higher.

Today, USPS is saying the pen will arrive on the day after Christmas. So a box in the mail for Boxing Day. How appropriate.

Pen is out for delivery today, two delivery days earlier than projected. Nice little present.

That's great news! I'm experiencing a "sxxt" show with USPS right now.

Just to clarify one comment.  Endless Pens does not charge sales tax, and as you continue to buy from them you reach different levels, with different free shipping minimums.  For Platinum, it is $79.

I'll now clarify.......They do charge sales tax when applicable and for me it is! And the free shipping generally is over $250. BTW, I've made numerous purchases from them over the last 3 years or so.

That’s now correct on account of your previous post. It’s happens to be a state by state issue. I’m a CPA and I know all about it.

It's peculiar (to me) that they don't charge sales tax to California. Is it because of where they are located? It is a nice perq, though.

Anyway, mine also arrived this morning, but I was out at the time (another person signed for it, if that was required).

My first sparkly pen! At last I am with it, hip, up to the minute in fashion pens.

They are located in Texas.

I don’t think so. It’s not relevant to the sales tax subject here for CA either.

Got mine yesterday, great addition.

When I import stationary (in India), normally I pay around 40% over the cost in duties and taxes. To my surprise, Endless marked the price as 20 USD on the invoice, because of which I paid around 10 USD duty. quite risky and around 3 months of wait, but a sweet deal for a KOP eventually - i got mine for around 35% of the minimum retail price in India.

Off Topic
Congratulations on the KOP.
A bit off topic, but I love Ayush paper for FP’s and a few years ago after finding very little available in the United States, I started buying from them directly, paid a tremendous amount of shipping, but it still worked out really well in the long run as I bought a large amount to average down the shipping and I received some of the newest designs. There has been some on Amazon U.S. recently. They have great customer service.

  • 2 weeks later...

I have a request for those of you that received the KOP Sunlight from the Ocean Floor.  Mine was delivered, but I'm out of the US until early February.  Could someone post a photo?

Thanks.
