Asymmetry Diamond Dodecagon Cap developed
This was a bit ambitious project for me,
because i have not ventured into multi-facet machining.
the required precision and requirement was quite high,
and took months of hard work to master.

the multi-facet comprises of 408 small triangles.
depending on the view angle, the reflection pattern will change.
it requires great precision for all 408 triangles to fit into the dodecagon shape perfectly.

the logo allignment with the dodecagon angles were quite important.

also, entry thread geometry has been optimized (internal & external)
so threading is even smoother than before.

the front and end edges are also dodecagon chamfered, so it doesn't feel sharp.
it also looks more interesting than just a radius chamfer, becuase it shows dodecagon reflection.

Nice work, fplover5!

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."
