Camlin is finished?

I was searching the net to know if there were any new developments in FPs from Camlin and was surprises to see the new website.

https://www.kokuyocamlin.com/camel/

There is no "inkling" of fountain pens or inks. That was for "Camel". Clicked "Camlin" on that page and ended in another link

https://www.kokuyocamlin.com/camlin/markers-and-pens/fountain-pen-inks/individual/individual-bottle-of-royal-blue-in-60-ml

Just 3 colours of inks over there. No pens. Have they killed fountain pens while new companies are coming up with FPs?!!!

Regards

They still sell fountain pens I think. You can check once on Amazon/Flipkart. I recently sold several Camlin SD and Elegante pens as I primarily use ebonite pens.

Maybe old stock. I bought Camlin Elegante in July when in India. It was lying at the back of the rack in that shop. I threw away the cover. Else could have checked the date.

I do have SD, a few Trinity and another Elegante. Earlier you could see these pens on their old and crude website. But now nothing.

So it means.....

Perhaps you are right then. Meanwhile penhouse still has several pens in stock. Might be worth checking out for someone

Thanks for the link. Not thinking of buying any more Camlin now but was looking to see if they have come with anything new.

BTW, are V'Sign the OEM for Camlin?

Don't know for sure Sir, but take a look at this Sulekha pen as well. Perhaps VSign makes these pens for all?

V'Sign, Formerly known as beena is an OEM for camlin, and now apparently, for sulekha as well. But I think sulekha also gets OEM pens from click as well.

I found out about the V'Sign - Camlin connection from this article by Chawm da of Inked Happiness:

Hope this helps.
