HELP! What kind of nib should this pen have?

Hello, I have a lovely old over and under eyedropper. Unfortunately someone replaced the original nib with a modern nib that is too thin to fill the large space between over and under. The ink pours straight through.

I’d like to fit the pen with a proper nib but have absolutely no idea what I’m looking for - can anyone please advise? The last picture shows the nib head on which gives the best sense of how wide the gap is.

thank you SO much for any knowledge or ideas.

I can't help you, try Andrew the vintage pen/dip pen nib guy.

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

It's very nice to have someone who knows what is what and can let us know.
