A really old pen box

This pen was incomplete but such a cool old box. This Moore unleakable pen I think was before 1916 since has the early American pen co nib.  Does anyone have a cool old box to show?

Those are really cool!  The H M Smith pen and box are especially rare I would think and beautiful, your balance has pretty good color too to the black and pearl. And the Eagle box I havn't seen it is amazing that a piece of paper and card can last somehow over the years.

Thanks! H. M. Smith pen really beautiful, looks like Harry Potter’s magic wand :)

I have few more boxes. May be not so rare, but I like them.

- Canadian Parker Duofold Deluxe, circa 1931

- Edacoto 101, I think 1930-40th

- Not so old, but unusual shape box from Aurora 98GL set, 1960th

Those are cool too! I have a few more too I like to keep the pens in, the Parker challenger set I did replace the liner because even though was rarely opened the lining had turned to a powder. The Wahl I think from the 20’s and the 61 from the 60’s

Dunno if anyone would be interested in this, but it's probably one of my favorite things I own (at least in the fountain pen/writing instrument hobby):

I was a little skittish taking pictures of it cause I wanted a good shot but I didn't want to expose it to light too much. I am hoping that a minute or two won't really hurt it too much.

It's a completely mint writing set by Eagle Pencil Co. As it says, it has 6 writing utensils, most of them pencil related. From top to bottom:

  • Little metal capsule at the top is a lead holder
  • Metal mechanical pencil (not sterling silver, might be silver plated?)
  • A "lead holder," at least I think that was the label. But it just seems like another mechanical pencil to me.
  • Screw-top smooth black rubber eyedropper fountain pen with an Eagle 14kt gold nib.
  • Literally a pencil holder. Looks like BCHR but it's actually some kind of lacquered metal.
  • Last but not least and one of my favorite parts, a little letter opener. You press the button on the top and a dull blade drops out.

Might not be the most prestigious of brands but I think it's a really cool set. It's complete and everything is in really nice condition. The label on one of the pencils looks like it could have been printed yesterday, that's how crisp the paper is.

The box is in kind of rough condition, that's about it - but given that it's paper/cardboard I am surprised it survived as well as it did. I am guessing it's about 100 years old? Hope someone else found this interesting!

That is definitely very cool, I’ve never seen a set like that, and everything looks unaffected by over a hundred years I would think. Thanks for showing it!
