ASA Titanium

This is a beautiful pen and one of the few Acrylic pens that I own. It was offered in a  group buy in 2019 by ASA, and it came with an Ambitious Titanium nib fitted into a Bock nib unit. 

 

I recently got a couple of Ambitious Titanium nibs, so started using this pen again with the newer nibs.

 

Have included a size comparison with ASA Daily, which was my first Ebonite pen and which introduced me to the beauty of our handmade Indian Ebonite pens.

I think I have a couple of tiny "vintage" Ambitious nibs sitting in my drawer, but don't see much on their website for sale. Everything is "Inquire."  Did you purchase your nibs new or used?

They don't sell directly to customers as far as I know. Some Indian retailers sell the steel nibs, but the titanium ones aren't easily available. Someone still had these old titanium nibs, and I got it from him.

Beautiful pen. The combo of white and blue is something not seen often. 

 

That ASA Daily is something I cherish. Have to bring it back to rotation soon.

Yes, the pen is indeed beautiful. ASA should keep it as a regular model IMO. They had one in red acrylic as well and that too was stunning. If you like I can dig out those pics from FB group and share it here.

 

Even though I haven't inked my ASA Daily for years now, it is very special to me as it was my first Ebonite pen 🙂
