Sheaffer Imperial III touchdown Triumph arrived today.

I received two new vintage pens in the post today, a Sheaffer and Parker. Both came from the buy and sell website here in Austria, Whillhaben. The Sheaffer has had a restoration with new sac and O ring and is in immaculate condition with no brassing or scratches just micro swirls.

This is my first touch down filler and I must say it’s a joy to use! The triumph nib is a firm fine and a really smooth writer.

I’m used to Shaeffer’s being smooth writers, I have a later inlaid nib imperial, a beautiful writer as well. I think I got a good deal considering the restoration and conditioning, €39.
