I really enjoy it! I don't like the filling system very much. It's a squeeze tube. It has a bit of flow issues, I have to prime the nib often. But I really like the nib. I'm learning to write with a lighter touch. And of course it's a great nib to practice mindfulness 🧘 ;)

I think you got one of the later versions, *without* the screw-in nibs, right? I suspect international cartridges will fit and, if so, that will give you choices on converters, of course. The last version came with a simple piston converter - or at least the couple NOS in the box I got did. And I strongly suspect the ones without screw-in nibs could be eyedroppered but I think that's unlikely to help with flow issues.

Yes mine is the later version. I also have the Sketch nib, which was even worse. But if the ink is wet, like Herbin, Perle Noir, then it's much better.

Some one suggested to grip the metal nib, moving it further in or further out of the nib section to see if that improves ink flow or exchange the feed with another nib unit, or ultimately cleaning the feed with a tin foil. It doesn't bother me that much, to be honest. It is what it is. It's like writing with a dip nib. In a way it's great to slow down and focus on each word. But I would prefer a different convertor. I might try some of mine and see if it works.

I believe all my Sketch nibs are the screw-in ones but they are distinctly wetter than the Copperplates.

If there is ink residue in the feed, ultrasonic cleaning and/or a soaking in Zest-it pen cleaning fluid is often helpful for me.

Mine was the contrary. I had to widen the tines to increase the flow.

Mine were new and are thoroughly cleaned after each use. I avoid using my permanent inks with them. I tried one of my Chinese convertors it fit. Now I have to see if I can draw ink :)

I wasn't familiar with this ink at all, and I was surprised when it seemed to be just a dark blue and not teal leaning like many blue-blacks are.

Thanks for the review.  And, well, not.... (now I'm going to have to spend time looking at all the usual suspect online vendors to add this to the spreadsheet of who has what and at the best price... :wallbash:).

The colour doesn't do justice to the chroma.

It's an interesting ink. Especially as they have in a coke bottle size :D
