Conid Slimline alternative?

Basically, I found this post and fell in love.

I'm looking for a smallish demonstrator with black cap and section and an integrated filling mechanism.

Apart from a couple of TWSBI's is there anything like that on the market?

Thanks! :)

Look at Opus, they have some variations with solid caps and section and piston knob but transparent barrel, though some are more colorful there are black options like the 88 flow, but I don't know if it's available anywhere. Also they are japanese style Eyedroppers not piston filled.

I can't think of any pen that has all your requirements. Sorry.

Thanks, guys.

I was kind of expecting it, but thought I should ask to make sure.

Hopefully CONID will make a comeback sometime soon.

They are back, on a limited basis through Penworld.

The customer service is still spectacular, however. The Minimalistica I bought in the latest run had a problem the plunger/finial. I think the threads were cut just a tiny bit shallow because it wouldn’t fully screw down. They took care of the issue extremely quickly.

I LOVE my Minimalistica. If I had to find one fault — and it’s at worst a very small one — it has to do with posting. When you post the cap, the gasket secures onto the plunger/finial rather than the barrel. As a result, if you have the plunger/finial slightly unscrewed to facilitate ink flow, the cap doesn’t feel totally secure. Again, this is a very small complaint about a fantastic pen. I would buy the pen again in a heartbeat, and I can’t wait to buy a Kingsize.

They offered a line of four pens which could be ordered in various configurations, with a choice of steel, gold or titanium nibs which one could have ground. One could order one pen and say, three nibs.

For example;  https://www.conidpen.com/kingsize/

Now we are offered a limited run of a particular pen in a given configuration.

Add lightness and simplicate.

Will Conid do other limited runs or make more pens again? I haven’t seen or heard anything beyond reviews and comments about the last run. Any more info would be greatly appreciated! TIA!

So, the latest from Conid via Penworld is a stock notification email form? I saw that and signed up over a month ago and haven’t heard anything.

Has anyone had any contact or received more information?

Thanks for your responses!

Correct, the last newsletter I got from Dec 2022 said "Conid and Penworld decided to join hands."

All that is needed is to visit the Penworld link, Karmachanic posted, select the pen of interest, enter your email address and click the 'Notify me' button

When I tested the stock alert in April, it worked fine, though the pens sell within hours.

You can read a lot of that in

Note that a lot of that thread is people wondering the same thing...there's probably a page and a half informative comments in the 10 page thread.
