Differences in Waterman Expert Editions

You are right, there is a difference in weigh between mk 1 vs Mk II/III.  But the main difference is the nib.  The Mk I has a unique nib, as far as I know never used in any other Waterman fountain pen.  You can see that in the second post of this thread. Main difference between  Mk II vs Mk III is in the cap band.  Quality and reliability are excellent in all versions.
