Kakimori, describes their ink as such : "Soyo is like a breath of fresh air. A colour that evokes the feeling of a pleasant breeze."

 Lets start with the chroma:

This is my least favorite ink by Kakimori, mostly because of it's paleness and lack of lubrication. You would need a cushiony nib, to enjoy the writing experience. Otherwise it's scratchy with finer nibs and dry times are quite long, especially with Japanese paper.

For some reason, the scanner picks green (with Midori). This is a pale blue.

It behaves well on Hammermill copy paper 20 lb

I would say, its utility is for fountain pen ink art, journaling with wide or cushiony nibs preferably on thick absorbent papers.

This was one my doodles, for the yearly Inktober challenge, the prompt was Doctor.

I was wondering if Dr. Felix would be able to manage his speech without being distracted by the tassel ;)

· What I did not like: Writing experience with all pens (very scratchy) but the very wet, Kanwrite, and Jinhao fude nib. Illegibility with most nibs. Long dry times.

· What some might not like: Same as above.

· Shading: None.

· Ghosting: Faint

· Bleed through: None

· Flow Rate: Too wet

· Lubrication: None existent

· Nib Dry-out: None.

· Start-up: None

· Saturation: Light

· Shading Potential: Only with fude nib.

· Sheen: None.

· Spread / Feathering / Woolly Line: None

· Nib Creep / “Crud”: Nope.

· Staining (pen): No.

· Clogging: No.

· Cleaning: Easy

Thanks again for yet another exhaustive analysis. We need your subjectivity! For me, too, it's pale, but a pale what? A greenish blue or a bluish green ??. (Yes, I also have a few different pens....).

:pound: Fabulous.

Thank you for another thorough review.  So annoying how often either the camera or the scanner refuses to see the color that's on the paper.  It definitely looks too pale for most writing.  I'd say a wet, broad nib would be required - or a paintbrush. :D

Looking forward to the YouTube video of Dr. Felix attacking his tassel... ;)

Most welcome. It's definitely a light blue. There's no green :)

Thank you, @yazeh, for the rain protection for the cat!  (is it a rain protection?)

I like your review and I like the Kakimori bottle!  +1👍to both, to you and to Kakimori.

The ink colour seems to be a bit too pale for a good daily use ink. Besides that, I'm wondering why a pale, watery ink may have such a long drying time.

One life!

All the Kakimori inks, I've tested are like that. They have very long dry times, unlike some of the Noodler's /De Atramentis /R&K document inks I've tried.
