  I rarely like wooden pens, but these are super! The grain is so nice and I bet they feel good in hand.

Diplomat burl, made in Japan in the late '80's. The top pen on the picture. A very nice regular flex 18k nib. All are 18K.

 

I must say I was so new to wooden pens, which i had only seen with cheap guts, at town markets and fairs. Many of pretty woods....but what is that to a nib with a bit of life to it.

I thought it a pretty  nice feeling plastic, until made wise by folks on the com. The top pen in the picture.

Oh, that’s gorgeous @Bo Bo Olson! I think the wood pieces are great, but like you I had only seen kit pens and some pearwood pieces.
