I'm very happy with both.

I would also be happy with both of those flat tops.  Ooh, and a shiny urushi cursive italic! The Leonardo is the most understated red Italian pen I’ve ever seen, it’s beautiful.

Oh- look at your new precious (resin)! I love burgundy and gold. The brilliant reds are all so festive! The second Lamy (Accent?) can also be in the “silver” pen club thread.

Yeah, me neither.  I like the look of the "Holly" pen.

Of course I'm ALSO drooling over the Pelikan Red Tortoiseshell....

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

You have the holiday pens! I love those!  That Pelikan is really a stunner, and the Jinhao is a really good base for the urushi- it looks great!  the Pilot is really nice, reminds me of early Duofolds.

Thanks for the comments! Yes, those Sheaffer Christmas pens are very nice, I was lucky to get them awhile back. Apparently they only made them for a couple of years. It was a nice idea. Even the boxes they came in have the theme of the pen.

Oooooh…I like that Pilot Custom 845! I think I need to see one of those in person and see how much it speaks to me.

@dms525, I love the Granata Red color on your Leonardo, and your writing is very attractive.

@Baka1969 I love the marbling on your Visconti, and I think you have my favorite colorway I've seen in MB!

@Nyoko I'm impressed that you have holiday-specific pens AND that you remember to use them!

My two reddish pens are:

Retro 51 Tornado in Orchid (which I would certainly call pink, but I know that other pinks have been allowed in the thread):

Retro51_Orchid.thumb.jpg.1dc53d8daa73b0f641b376cf24b7883c.jpg

A knockoff Parker Sonnet purchased in China (well, I'm assuming it's a knock-off, or an incredible deal).  Unknown colorway:

I'm a huge fan of reds. That Pelikan is my pick of the litter.

Thanks! I also have a few more burgundy, but I want to get more reds. That Pelikan M600 might be a near future addition.

I have some similar patterned Baoer Sonnet knockoffs, they were the gateway into the Chinese FP market for me. That particular colorway ended up with my niece , who likes to draw with it. I think it looks like tiger stripes.  I like mine, they are very good value pens.  Your Tornado is cute. They need to release a penguin pattern in a fp for me.

Thanks! The Audace is Leonardo's newest model, and I am loving it.
