I saw this tiny Montblans that messures 8,4 cm, and it is a safety pen, the nib is market as simplo 0. But there are no Montblanc engraving in the Barrell or any in the in of the turning knob, as many times you can find some. No white star in the cap, neither. Looks like a real Montblanc, but just in case it really is a Montblanc? Thank you in advance for your answers.

Definitely a genuine Simplo nib - it's beautiful!

Can't help with the rest of ID, 'm afraid. Not my area.

But a gorgeous pen, whichever way it swings. Congratulations!

If the nib is genuine, I'd get it just for that, especially at that price. Looks like it might be an oblique.

Rationalizing pen and ink purchases since 1967.

Thank you for your answer, I have no doubt that the nib is genuine, Also the pen itself. The overlay of these overlay pens as many other brands were made in Italy and in Montblanc, sometimes there are no marks. My concern about that pen was to identify the model. I know there is the nib Simplo 00. I was wondering if this model it is the smallest one or not Because I read that some nibs Simplo 0 and Simplo 00 are the same size, despite how they are marked.

I understand that the '0' and '00' nib were fairly interchangeable.  I've seen '0' nibs on the tiniest baby safeties (6.2cm).  Equally, I've seen '00' on the slightly larger safeties. Those overlays make identifying the parts of the pen very hard.  That particular seller is not the most concerned with era/brand accuracy I've ever encountered.  I'd simply ask him if all parts are original to that pen.

Thank you for your answer. I will do that. Anyway, why you say so? Have you seen something that should be mentioned? I talked with some Italians collectors, and they said that everything was OK. About the nib that was my concern, the simplo 00 is the one that goes with the pen that measures aprox. 6,3 cm. This one is the Simplo 0, that is right nib for the baby safety pen that measures 8,3 cm aprox.
