Montblanc Hitchcock-not sure if this is the place

I’m not sure if this is the right place-Amber please move this oft it’s not.

 

I’ve been trying. To figure out a ink similar or a doppelgänger to Montblanc’s Hitchcock which is a delightful blood red when it goes down.

so yesterday I used some sip pens to try out the following inks: Hitchcock, Montblanc Red Fox, Corn Poppy Red, and Legends of the Zodiac -Tiger, Sailor Akane, Diamond Communication Breakdown, Noodlers Rattlers Red Eel, Diamond Writer’s Blood Toucan Crimson, and Tools to Liveby’s IG Red (by KWZI).

 

First paper is (white) Tomoe River 52gsn a hobonichi notebook, second two pictures are from a Seven Seas Writer by Nanami (ivory), and the last. Picture was a Graphilo notebook sold by Kobe.

@fireant What a fantastic comparison.  @HalloweenHJB and I discovered that Diamine in the flower set made a great match.  In @lgsoltek's review the Burgundy Rose looks bluer than what I recall it looking like in my comparison.

Also, I love the Akane Red.
