Help in Identifying a Pelikan Pen

I recently acquired this pen that is branded as Pelikan on the silver ring on the cap and on the top of the cap, but I can't verify the model or the authenticity. It has a holder for inserting a Pelikan 4001 cartridge. Can anyone help? Any information would be appreciated.

I had one, in a light color.  Beautiful pen that wrote well, but somehow or other, was just not for me.
