Kaweco Bronze Sport

Some quick impressions of the Kaweco Bronze Sport:

Purchased the pen directly from Kaweco's website and it was a very smooth experience in addition to being packaged in a very nice way.

I was worried the extra-fine nib would be an issue but it turned out to be a lovely nib, reaffirming my preference for extra-fine nibs in general (when they're good). Not scratchy but with good feedback (not a fan of glass-smooth nibs.)

I tend to enjoy pens on the heavier side so it feels quite natural.

The brushed finished looks great and it's going to be interesting to see how the bronze surface changes over time.

The Bronze Sport is on my wish list, together with the Bronze, Steel and Raw Aluminium.  Good to see a positive review.  I've been using Kawecos for several years and found them to be good writers, with a good balance and weight when posted.

These are wonderful pens - they write well and are like tanks - you can knock them around a lot and there's no problem.

The Kaweco Sports are besically my EDC pens. I clip one to my shirt whenever I leave the house. I probably use a Sport more often than most of many other pens. I like the heft of my Brass. I'd love to get the Bronze. If only I could justify the premium over the Brass to myself. I'd like to get an AL also. The Ebonit looks terrific. At $300+ USD I'm not likely to get one.

It has been on my wish list for quite some time as well, but I already have a Brass Sport and prefer to save my scarce resources for the so long promised, never delivered, future piston sport, if and whenever it comes, if ever.
