@LizEF is using one in her current Efnir reviews.

:) It is hard to resist getting them all, isn't it?

I’ve given up on resisting them. The current Preras are all welcome in my collection.

So what makes the nib "windrose"?  I don't think I've ever run across the term before.

Thanks for asking. I believe this has already been discussed somewhere. The “windrose” is a tiny engraving on the nib itself, on a batch of early 1930s Pelikan 100 nibs.

Although the meaning of the sign is being discussed but still unknown, this batch of “windrose” nibs is famed for being of outstanding quality. Here’s the close view of the green pen nib.

Thanks for posting the photo.  Is the "windrose" the little icon just below the word "KARAT"?  Because I looked up the term just now and that certainly seems to describe the image.

Yes indeed you are admitted. Membership is you own one green pen. More is great, but one is enough to join.

This little beauty arrived yesterday. I put a cartridge of Kaweco Palm Green in it. Kaweco calls it Candy Apple green, and it has a 1.1mm stub nib. 💚

@AmandaW how do you like the size of the Lilliput?

It's tiny, but normal pen-length when posted. I can write a couple of A4 pages without any problem, which is strange, because I thought I needed a wider grip to be comfortable. I haven't used it for longer than that in one session yet.

I also haven't tried it on a particularly-mean arthritis day and probably won't cos I'm thinking it's one of those friends one only sees when feeling up to coping.

Will work for pens...

The Turquois TWSBI Eco certainly looks blue to me, but Wikipedia calls Turquois blue-green, so I'm going with that.

Thanks for the picture, I do have a couple green Pelikan 100's.

That pointy one between the marbled pen and the 200 Pelikan looks much like my ...my wife loves turqoise, so that pen she will never use a '60-70's Wearever.

Some wearever are not as bad as made out.

One of my mistakes was getting rid of my pre-and just after the war Wearevers. I did keep that long camouflaged FP/MP in the middle. along with the turquoise one on the right side.rfUcYs9.jpg

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.
