Thank you for sharing the Glenmont. I’ve never seen one except on the Edison website. It looks really good in the solid green. And an ink window. Very nice.

Oh wow, I love the way it writes!

Thank you. This is an experimental titanium cross flex nib modified by me, based on a Bock 250 titanium nib.

Is that a third party nib, or modification?  Looks like it's got a little upturned beak on it.

This is an experimental titanium flex fude nib modified by me. The purpose is to produce line variations in both horizontal and vertical strokes.

By the way, Leonardo Officina Italiana provides fude nib options, at least on steel nib Momento Zero pens, on their official website.

Thank you. This is a custom-ordered Glenmont, which is exactly the reason why I sent Brian an email inquiring about the current availability of pneumatic fillers : )

@zeroduke -- The striped green binde or the solid color green binde is what makes me immediately think "Pelikan".  I just associate that color and shade with the brand, it's so iconic to me.  The problem is that I'm not that enamored that particular color green.  What I WANTED was the blue-black, but ended up getting other color ones first -- because that's how the luck went.

The blue M800  is one of the most beautiful Souverans.  I wish Pelikan would release an M1000 in blue, but for now I've got the Stresemann.

Here’s my beloved green pen, my trusty Pelikan 400N with OF nib:

400N is an short-lived evolutional step in Pelikan 400 production, basically a 400 with more elegant cap and turning knob, and was only made between december 1954 and april 1955.

Here’s another green pen I like so much: my 1932/3 malachite green Pelikan 100, with “windrose” B nib:

This is a very rare pen, the only one such I’ve seen so far.

On my wish list is a green striated Montblanc 142G.

Thanks Stoen for the photos.

I don't have any photos of my similar pens.....and my pictures always appear made with my plastic Brownie.............a snapshot camera i was able to use as good as anyone else.

I don't have an 400n but 3 or so '50-54 green 400s and a green stripped 400NN.

I do have greenish 100 and a 100n.

My 100 has a CN nib.

For a while I thought my transition 400 tortoise was an N, in it had no body marking and had nib marking. For me it takes quite a while to differentiate between the piston cap of a 400 and the N.

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

Wow!  What a beautiful color green.  (I'd love to some day get a blue binde 100, but my budget goes, "Yeah, keep dreaming...." :wallbash:)

So what makes the nib "windrose"?  I don't think I've ever run across the term before.

I have light blue, pink and green. Red is bought, and will be a birthday gift. I’m hoping a brother will get me black and orange for the same birthday. Those could be Halloween pens. Then I’d only need the darker blue to have them all.

Oh nice!  I have the opaque colors. I made sure to get all the opaque colors of the last several years. I had the light blue demonstrator.

Do you particularly like green? Or is there another reason green is your favorite?
