Aw, gee, shucks…

(I’m English - compliments make us feel embarrassed and awkward :D)

Thank you!

ETA: and of course Amber’s green Pelikans, in the post directly above mine, are more impressive!

Oh, but yours are beautiful.

@roshpens has a mate to my Green ocean that has a great nib.  Now that the green demonstrators have been re-released, I expect we will see more of them.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

@Wahl love those fountain pen sets. Are those all mechanical pencils in each pair?

Wahl, very, very nice.

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

I got another green pen recently. It’s a Levenger True Writer in Flourish Forest green.

I had a feeling that this could be the case, but now that I have rounded them all up, I know for sure that my green pens are the category with the biggest number of individuals.

A real favourite - no. But there are some where I feel a greater attachment than for others.

For example the Pelikan M400 is my old school pen. I got it in the 1980s, it has accompanied me through my remaining time in school, I have written my final exams with it and it has been with me ever since.

Is the 400 Sea Green with its 3B nib more impressive? Yes. But that one hasn't been with me for decades.

I the appearance of this pen even more than I do the appearance of your #13 (Pelikan M101N in Tortoise Brown)!

I think that it is absolutely lovely :puddle:

Sadly though for me (albeit happily for my wallet), I fear button-filler pens - and I am also scared of the propensity of the eye-candy material from which the pen's body is made to deteriorate over time.

Well, the Parker you are eyeing is now almost 84 years old and so far I haven't seen any deterioration. Until now I haven't run into any problems with button fillers (and if I did, my pen repair guy would gladly take care of it). This one cost me about half of what the M101N did. I am sure you are aware that there are also red and blue variants (which I don't have)?

Oh yes. And I really like those too.
But I love the greens and browns and the stripiness of the one that you do have! (especially if the 'black' stripes between its brown and green ones are still transparent/translucent). That particular colour-palette makes it look like a 'natural' phenomenon to me. Or reminds me of nature. Or something.
Whatever the reason is, I bloomin' s it, I does! ;)

I also like (very much) the the look of the Parker 'Vacumatic' pens that have the 'stacked coin' patterns on their bodies (& e.g. the 'Golden Web' pens) - but your Duofold Senior is, I think, the one that is the prettiest of them all.
