Extra Fine Nib Replacement?

Hi there! ❤️ This is my first post here, thank you in advance for any advice you can lend! :)

So, I'm a few years into my fountain pen collecting journey; so far it's just been Kawecos for me, but today I purchased a handmade wooden fountain pen from a pen maker on Etsy who I have had make me some absolutely stunning rollerball pens in the past! The problem is that I'd like to switch out his fine width nib for an EF nib, but I'm not sure what kind if nib replacement to get! Can anyone help me identify this type of nib and what a nice replacement option might be?

Thanks so much & have a lovely evening! ^_^

PS: Attached are the photos he sent me of the nib I'd be receiving, + a photo of the style of pen it will be. :)

Hi @sparklygalaxy.

There is a thread on another forum (here). It can be simple if the unit comprised of hull, feed and nib (as a triple) can be replaced as a whole. For example if the screw threads of e.g. a Kaweco unit fits into the kit pen.

If not, you would need to compare the original nib size (hopefully you can pull it straight out from the triple) with a new one. This is best done in person (maybe you have a repair shop nearby or you visit a pen show) or you make exact measurements and communicate with a repair store to send a replacement nib.

One life!

Iridium Point Germany says Chinese to me.  6 on the feed may mean it's a #6 nib.  Could be replaced with a Jowo/Bock nib on the existing feed in the existing housing

Add lightness and simplicate.

Would it be possible to ask the pen maker? I'm sure they know what (probably standard and easy to find) nib unit model that is.
