A bit of fun... 'You have 30 seconds to decide. You can only ever have one fountain pen. Which is it to be?'

Pelikan M200 with modern F steel nib. Probably  old style though, - maybe grey marble and derby cap.

Hi all,

Well, I keep my pens in drawers; in 30 seconds time, I can pull out a drawer of 51s, a drawer of Pelikans and a drawer of Esties... problem solved!

Wow! That brings a whole new meaning to the word 'Fine' Do you use it for 'normal' Western handwriting or does it have a more specific use?

"51". It will last forever.

👍 I have a 'fine' in burgundy with a lustalloy cap. There is good reason they have such a good folllowing and are sought after even today.

Sorry that's a 'Disqualification' for failing to follow the 'House' rules. Checking your avatar would you need more than one Corniche? 🙂👍

Well, if I HAVE TO choose ONLY ONE; I suppose it would be my green and gold Parker 51 Custom Aerometric with the Medium nib.

OR

My monogrammed Blue and Gold marbled acrylic Esterbrook Estie with the factory stub nib.

In all reality, I'd probably come out with a Bic or nothing, because I'd be unable to decide which pen in 30 seconds.

How's that?

🙂 I was just kidding 👍  I do realize when you own lots of excellent pens how difficult it can be to choose just one, 👍

It is my favorite nib for both writing and art.

What have you done with the cat? It looks half dead.

This is too easy.  My choice is a vintage Esterbrook J with a bunch of different Renew points to satisfy my whims. There's nothing in the rules against extra nibs.
