Green Marble Vac

I was fortunate to be able to acquire this one recently. I knew I was getting a green marble Lockdown Junior(I think-two bands, about the same diameter as a 3 band standard but shorter) but didn't appreciate until I had it in hand just how clear it was. These are really quite striking when this clear.

I know there's some obvious darkening up near the diaphragm, but it seems to me like this one would probably be above average clarity. What do you all think?

Wow.  I don't think I've ever seen that color Vac before.  I have some colors of the Pearls, and some of the Shadow Wave colors, plus a couple of black ones -- but nothing like that.

Nice find!

That is a great looking pen!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I'm pretty sure these plastics are called "marbled", but that's going by memory. I like this model, and it's very hard to find really good transparency because the marbled portion isn't very transparent at all. Yours is definitely better than most. Since it's green, time to load it with green ink!

Just as a question for you repair minded folks, since I'm nearly out of diaphragms and have half a dozen pens backlogged to fix-

Would this take a standard size diaphragm? That's what I know to use on the 3 band standard lockdowns, and this is roughly the same diameter jr as those pens, but I wanted to double check. I'm probably going to order a bunch of standard diaphragms anyway since I seem to be buying more and more of these pens, and of course I'll probably get a dozen or more debs since I seem to have 2nd/3rd gen Majors or Juniors along with 51s in my hands a lot, but want to adjust my order based on this and another 2-band lockdown I also also need to fix.
