Hello everyone I have this pen that was gifted to me in a box set. Iit has no markings other than “Iridium” and “Germany” on the nib. I know its a long shot but does anyone have any insight to posibbly the make and what converter would fit it? It should just be a standard International if im not mistaken right? Thank you in advance for any and all info!

In all likelihood, it's a… ahem… budget-end Chinese-made fountain pen than no notable brand cares to put its name on the product. In decreasing order of likelihood, it'd take:

  • a 2.6mm-bore converter
  • a 3.4mm-bore converter
  • a 2.4mm-bore (so-called “standard international”, even though it's meaningless and misleading — a Faber-Castell, which would accept a Schmidt K2 “standard international” converter, won't really work with a Schmidt K5 “standard international”) converter

If you don't have any of the above to test and check for yourself, I'm afraid there isn't much we can do, other than suggest trial-and-error to ascertain what your pen uses.

I endeavour to be frank and truthful in what I write, show or otherwise present, when I relate my first-hand experiences that are not independently verifiable; and link to third-party content where I can, when I make a claim or refute a statement of fact in a thread. If there is something you can verify for yourself, I entreat you to do so, and judge for yourself what is right, correct, and valid. I may be wrong, and my position or say-so is no more authoritative and carries no more weight than anyone else's here.

Looks suspiciously like a pen I once had, that was advertised as being able to still write after being thrown like a dart at a dartboard.

It wrote well, and used standard internationals.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

It writes nicely. I was more so just curious I like to edit it so I didn't want to be worried about it getting lost. As for the cartridges I syringe filling the ones it came with just cellophaned no branding.bThank you for the help
