The Pilot is beautiful, as is the urushi pen on the left. I’m not a Kaweco Sport person, but I recently saw the Twin Nib and want it. I also loved the vibrancy of the blue/teal shades in the AL- Sport line.

Thanks, @Penguincollector. I'm not a Kaweco Sport person, either, except (laughing)... I've become one.

I have a Liliput (too skinny, too many turns to unscrew), a Special (I don't know why it doesn't feel special to me...), a Supra (I LOVE this EF nib, but too heavy, too girthy), the Stonewashed Denim Blue Sport (bought for its looks -- this pen just appeals to me, but compared to my usual favorites, too heavy, I don't know, something off, but still, the looks!)... and, inexplicably, I didn't give up on Kaweco! No idea why!

I like the steel nibs. That's why.

Now I have three plastic Sports and this raw aluminum one which became an instant favorite (and somehow not too heavy, even though it's the same weight as the blue AL). I'm really surprised at myself over this Kaweco thing. The plastic Sports accumulation was just beginning to kick into gear when I realized... I'm not going to use those pens, not with the raw aluminum one around.

That’s similar to what happened to me with Lamy. I hated the aesthetics of the Safari and the triangular grip, but the nibs won me over, and I love shiny aluminum. If I end up with a twin nib, it will probably go in a blue or teal colored AL-Sport eventually. The fireblue series of Kawecos are really pretty.

I thought I was DONE with acquiring pens. Kaweco got to me. (Laughs.)

I’ve accepted that it’s never ending. I might go through times where I don’t buy pens or only buy them if I stumble upon them in person, but the acquisition of new pens is so much fun, whether it’s a work of art or an inexpensive school pen. Don’t even get me started on paper or ink.

Ooh, pretty! What material is it made of, and what does the nib look like? I’ve heard good things about The Good Blue pens, and with a name like that- I really want to check them out!

The cap and body are aluminum that has been ceracoated blue. the center that the nib goes into and the converter hooks onto are brass in my case. It has a flat machined along the bottom edge to keep it from rolling on the desk, no clip, dark titanium nib and a white feed that looks like it was made by a 3D printer.  Haven't inked it yet to try the flex. British Engineer designed it is my understanding.

That looks really neat, I am looking forward to seeing the lines it puts down on the paper.

Beautiful pens, @amberleadavis! Those Hinze pens are super fun!, and the more Franklin- Christophe pens  I’m shown, the more intriguing they look. Laban pens often leave me breathless .
