@Mercian, there is also a Cross blue ATX that looks similar. It doesn’t look quite as vibrant, more of a greyish blue, but it could be the light.

Mind you that this product photography is often done with a hellish smack of fierce white light, that can easily distort one's impression of colorshade. Relating specifically to this particular pen too I had observed this confusing difference of rendering before. So naturally I wondered then whether these pictures are actually of the same pen? Didn't get around to investigating that though.
