Thank you very much!

I try to make photos more interesting, but then they often turn out not very informative.

The photos don’t have to be both, if they are- that’s a bonus! You can always add a picture with more detail later.

Today's blue pen, my current EDC. Sheaffer Snorkel. I believe this is an Admiral but I could be wrong. I brought it back to working condition about a month ago and it is one of my favorite Journaling pens. $10 at an estate sale..

Your train pen is gorgeous, @Runnin_Ute! I have a blue Skyline on my list of pens to find.

It's a fabulous writer as well. A Manifold Fine nib. I have been using it daily since its arrival on Monday.

That’s super cool! I am currently looking for a manifold nib, I will add it to the list of possibilities. I have a Ventura, but I really want a Skyline.

I just fix them, I am not in the same league as the people who restore them. I got very lucky on this one as it only needed a new sac and a bit of Ron Zorn's polish.

Nice find!  And ten bucks is a GREAT price for a Snorkel -- especially one in working condition!

All of my Snorkels have needed to be checked out/repaired.  Adds to the price, but worth it in the long run, because if the sac has gone the spring could rust -- and that's a $20 US part right there (or was when a friend asked me about repair guys when she inherited one.)

My newest blue pen is the Sapphire blue TWSBI Classic.  The notebook is an Elemental Notebook with old Tomoe River paper.

I’ve always wondered if these were as nice as the demonstrators that they are known for. How do you find it so far? Is the step down from the barrel to the section very noticeable? It’s a very pretty pen, and I love the feel of their stub nibs.

I didn’t notice the step down when using it.  When I’ve used it more, I’ll let you know if my opinion changes.

Two more blue pens in the past week: Montblanc Noblesse Oblige and Marlen Rinascimento. (Remarkably, when posted the Marlen's cap screws on and the clip aligns perfectly with the nib.)

I have had a long term love affair with Marlen. I still have 4 of them.

Both pens are beautiful, @Arthur Pewty! I have been wanting a Noblesse for ages- good score. The Marlen’s clip and the swirls are really eye catching. I love pens that screw to post, especially when everything lines up.

So pretty! I like how the resin mimics an old celluloid pattern.
