@JonSzanto Wow! Those blues go so well together! I love those Magellans, I’ve seen them pop up before , but never in that lapis, and the section in the same material looks amazing! Thanks for dropping such a pretty picture in the thread!

Yes, and the two Magellans are so close but definitely different materials. You have to believe me: I did this post for you, just as I did my first "green pen" post for you, as well.

That is nothing less than a remarkable pen. Thank you.

My newest blue pen is a lovely little Conklin Endura ring top with the sweetest stub nib. I love little pens and this is no exception. It has an engraved signature on it that is pretty but illegible to me.

I just went to the pen cabinet to check and confirm: we're twins! Mine has an interesting inscription: "From G.S. to M.L." Very nice blue lapis on the Conklin pens.

Yay, pen twins! I’ll try to get a good picture of the signature to see if anyone can read it.  I love that blue.

The celluloid is lovely, @Jwada1138! I’m not a stylographic pen user, but I can appreciate this little beauty.

Hello. I have here a Rotring Tiku stylograph. its from the early 1950's, and its a piston filler.

I have a Visconti Copernicus with the Rotring stylograph nib. I always wanted to get the 'original '.

Funny, I've been wanting a Visconti Copernicus for quite a while.

Was the original nib not as good? Why do you not use the original?

They made a version that used the stylograph nib (licensed from Rotring)

This was in addition to the gold nib version.

Both use the crescent filler.

Somehow all but one of my Cross pens are blue (the Apogee shows more blue in person than in this photo, and the Peerless is far more gaudy than you see here). The Phileas, on the other hand, doesn't look nearly this bright blue.

Cross ATX
Cross C-Series
Cross Century II
Cross Peerless

Beautiful collection of blue pens, @Arthur Pewty! I also have an affinity for Cross pens, although mine are mostly Century II; your Lapis one is stunning, as is your Waterman Gentleman.  I love the look of abalone, but the facets hurt my hands. The Delta is adorable! Does the ATX have the blue nib?

Thanks. The abalone on both the Conklin and the Monteverde is covered with a clear coat to form a smooth, round surface, so you'd be safe. The ATX nib is ordinary stainless steel.

Thanks for letting me know, that makes all the difference! Hmm, now there’s two blue ATX pens. 🤔

Thank you very much!

I try to make photos more interesting, but then they often turn out not very informative.
