Here's one blue pen, an Jinhao Dadao 9019, which is shortly going off into the world to live a life separate from mine. Shown with a cheap Chinese piston filler rollerball and two vials of ink.

The person I am pen-abling has nerve damage in his writing hand that prevents him being able to grasp a cheap ballpoint. He tried my EDC work pen (similar to the rollerball in my pic) and found it easy to grasp. The 9019 will be a surprise but he's expecting the RB tomorrow.

That’s so nice! I hope they enjoy their new pens and gain a more comfortable writing experience.

I was given a present out of the blue today and it is a blue fountain pen.

The other day I helped a neighbour couple with an irrelevant, insignificant favour and they gave me this today.

It was a double surprise because first, the favour was really insignificant, and second because as far as I was aware they didn't know I use fountain pens.

So it was a beautiful surprise, not deserved at all, but beautiful.

The pen itself is a Belius Soiree. Might be inexpensive but feels nice and comfortable in the hand and it has a surprisingly nice reverse writing.

Sorry for the bad quality pictures.

What a pretty pen, and a great neighbor!

I’d say this one counts, as the name is Fireblue. It’s the Kaweco Liliput in Fireblue.  It truly is a small pen.

Wheee!!!!

It took me a long time to luck into a semi-flex piston Sport...but that Fire blue pen would tempt me.................................after all.......no matter what I say, my wife keeps buying me shirts with out pockets because they ....I don't know ...I got more shirts than I can wear. ....Thankfully most with pockets.

Hell, there's shirts I've not seen since Custer had hair.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

This didn't make it to this thread the last time in it's so dark blue it's almost black unless one looks hard. St. Dupont laque de Chine, dark blue. 18 K regular flex nib, F.

The live auction hall was almost empty, pre telephone bidding, much less computer.

Starting price was €20...so I was good to go, a steal. And I'd wanted a Dupont since I bought a counterfeit at the flea market (even before that) but $$$.

Sitting right next to me, out of the 40 empty chairs, was a woman that 'kept bidding on My Pen!!!!'

I got it for €90....her husband wanted it or she wanted to buy a present for him....grumble cubed.ofQhEtl.jpg

It really is a dark blue pen...navy.

Very nice!

I keep looking at the True Blues -- only then look at the price tags. :crybaby:

Not all that familiar with the Lady Elite, but have liked every Pilot pen I've ever bought (with the exception of the Vanishing Point, but only was it was too awkward and heavy for me; OTOH, my husband LOVES it -- at least, once I got myself a Decimo and swapped the EF nib assembly from that into the VP and put the F nib assembly into the Decimo).

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Thank you, @penwarrior32 and @inkstainedruth!

The Lady Elites were popular in the 1980s, I think. I’m really into short-long pocket pens, and Pilot fine nibs. They’re great little pens.
