I’m here to post I’ll soon have two new blue pens to post here. My Kaweco Sport Frosted natural coconut, which I absolutely adore, is not happy.

Why wouldn’t coconut be happy? It gets more friends to hang out with and a longer rest between shifts. I will have one more  for this thread coming later this month.

🤩 @zeroduke the dark blue is gorgeous, but the details and how they contrast the blue

is what brings it all together! The Greek key bands on both the cap and section, the overall shape, that gorgeous nib- perfection!

I love dark blue; my go-to ink is Diamine Denim or J. Herbin Bleu des Profondeurs.  Somehow, I only have one blue pen: LAMY Studio in Imperial Blue.

Well, if you’re only going to have one, that’s a great example of a lovely blue pen!

It took some 10 or so days for Pelikan to finally ship my Pastel Blue pen to my B&M and they ...were having deliver problems and didn't give my German B&M any date of delivery.

This picture is from Pelikan Perch.....the light blue pastel and white is more eye catching than I thought.

EF loaded with DA Purpurviloet, a medium purple.

Outside my old Esterbrook nurse pen, that I didn't have space for, my only white capped, sectioned  pen.

Lesson learned, make sure i don't dip the section deep enough in the ink bottle to reach the threads....a real xxxxx to get ink out of them...........something I never worried about with black sections.

I am editing, so have out my EF pens...that pastel blue, marbled brown 200.DSPqv6F.jpg

1959 Geha 790 with three true rings semi-flex EF.

I never chased EF, ....(being the wide type, thinking F was well narrow enough) so if I have any more they will come as a surprise.

And F was a place holder until I could get that pen again in wider.............to many pens needed to get it again:headsmack:...on the whole, and finally found F to be 'worth keeping.'

I think I need one of those pastel blue 200s. It’s so pretty! As an aside, I love that along the way you have developed a new appreciation for EF nibs, @Bo Bo Olson.

Someplace here in the US (Fahrney's?) now has them on order.  But at the price that is being charged, I may wait until I see one in person before making a decision.

Especially after the cap on the M600 Purple and White developed a crack (very noticeable because I had originally inked it up with IIRC Edelstein Tanzanite, and it shows... ).

Come to think of it ....Now I remember reading about Pelikan white pen cap or section problems.....a while back.........

Luckily I have some ink ordered  at my B&M, in he neglected to tamp my three year warrentee. I have that out and easy to find when I go get the ink.

I’d not heard anything about the white Pelikans having issues. I will have to keep that in mind when I go looking for one.

The very first run of the M400 White Tortoise was made from a material that cracked. I had one with a cracked cap and a cracked piston turning knob. Pelikan in Hanover repaired it for me free of charge.

I hope they fixed the problem in the intervening 2 decades.

Me too....but I've not noticed any posts about that lately....of course when not looking for white, one don't read about it.
