The Visconti Opera Master, Typhoon Edition.

This Opera fountain pen comes with the Smartouch nib, the Visconti cylindrical nib now discontinued.   In this case, the stub one.

With the fountain pen is included an interesting accessory:  the Snorkel.  Due to the design of the nib, it can be plugged into this accessory and in this way all the ink can be sucked out of a bottle.

I have a couple of pens with this nib and I like them but I could never get the mosquito accessory to work.  Do you have any issues?

It requires the nib to sit well,  easier said than done,  but finally...  it works.

A Parker 51.  😂

And the guy who had it was re-saccing it.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

I mentally just replaced the arrow with the Ponte Vecchio. 😝

Oh no!  Now I'm earworming "Where Is The Life That Late I Led?" because of the comment about the Ponte Vecchio.... :headsmack:

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Really.  I've got the three versions... and I prefer the original version, the one made in resin with that particular nib!

I have a request,  if you don’t mind- Could you make a post about all the Expert versions in the Waterman section with pictures? I’ve never seen them together to note the differences. Is the first version hard to find, or did it sell well before the revision? You could do it here if they’re all blue. Thank you.

Yes, no problem.  Where do you like me to make the post? there are different streams there.

Not so hard, they used to appear on eBay.  There are almost 250 Experts right now.   6 of them are Mk I.

3 in black, 1 in bordeaux, 1 in Prussian Green and... (yes, you are lucky) 1 in navy blue!

You can start a new topic in the Waterman section (there’s a “start new topic” button on the right when you open that forum) and label it Differences in Waterman Expert Editions or something like that, or if all of your experts are blue, you can post on this thread and not have to make a whole new thread.  You could also just send me a message if that’s easier. Any of these options is fine.

Done, as suggested.  Not here as the Mk I & Mk III are black.

This one reminds me of the Parker Vector/88 with a bigger nib.  I’ll go check out your new post.
