Yes!  Fude nibs are quite a fun, indeed.  I've got a couple of them, but they are not displayed here because they are not in blue.  My favourite:   the one provided with the Duke Confucius.  A triple tine and something strange on top to improve ink flow.

I have that one!  A definite monster.  😜

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

Definitely, in every way. The fountain pen weighs a ton!  But I love how it writes.

I need a Visconti- it even bears my initial! That color combo blows me away.

That’s such a pretty blue! A while ago, we were discussing modifications to the feed of Jinhao 100s and replacing the nibs with FPR 14k flex nibs.  This picture just reminded me of that.

Hey PGC

I missed that discussion, where was it?  It sounds like a fun thing to do.  🙂

Some of it is on This page

Some of it might be in my messages, but it boils down to enlarging the channel on the original Jinhao plastic feed with a dremel  and replacing the OEM nib with a 14k flex or ultra flex from FPR. I still haven’t tried it, mostly because I fear power tools.

@zeroduke that Divina is a beautiful pen.  Does it have a stub nib?

Yes, I chose that option because I love stub nibs.

The logo on the top of the cap is magnetically attached.  Visconti sells what they call My Pen System.  You can replace that logo with your own initials, up to two letters or a jewel.  Pure Italian touch of class.

That’s really neat,  a matching jewel would also be nice.

I love stub and italic nibs too. All my Visconti pens that had that option have a stub nib.

@Bo Bo Olson they’re all so beautiful! The shade of blue the M805 is so pretty and the blue and white dolphins remind me of home, I used to wake up to dolphins playing in the bay.  The Senator’s pattern is particularly lovely. The DuPont classic is my favorite kind of pen, slim with the beak like nib. The little Maltese Crosses on the cap band of the Diplomat  pen  is a great little detail.  Your flock is great fun to admire.

One 'knows' one has one's '100' pens, but it isn't until one starts dividing them into, red, blue and green. That one realizes....yes ya..got 100 pens more or less.

Waiting for my very few grey, gold;  and my huge collection of standard German black and gold pens. German pens by the big boys seem to cost 30-40% more if they have some color to them outside of Pelikan.

The Visconti Opera Master, Typhoon Edition.

This Opera fountain pen comes with the Smartouch nib, the Visconti cylindrical nib now discontinued.   In this case, the stub one.

With the fountain pen is included an interesting accessory:  the Snorkel.  Due to the design of the nib, it can be plugged into this accessory and in this way all the ink can be sucked out of a bottle.

I recently got a couple of new  padded leather cases , and that’s when I really saw what I had accumulated. I should probably be more discerning about what I buy, but I genuinely like each of my pens, from the .99 school pen to the flagship ones. @Misfit and I will have to discuss what color to  ask for pictures of next.

VzyfYI9.jpgA big Walnut humidor and a smaller ceder lined burl veneer one, that now only has etui's in it.

Cherry wood, glass top, and two more 15 pen shelves.= 45 pens.L1liZTg.jpg

24 pens in this Pelikan box

nBOfHP8.jpg

Meissen @ 1900--10 a mustard jar minus it's top.Z6Sch8A.jpg

I swear some 6 weeks or so ago, I had all my pens cleaned.:yikes::happyberet:...for two full days.

Now I have two cups full of dirty pens and two cups full of clean pens.

They are not quite the most basic cup , but one would only write home about them, if it rained for a week straight.

Then there is the to red wooden repair box full of little shelve boxes.....got to look in that, I have  three pens to ship off for repair and have room for one more in the hard plastic armband box, I use for that. :headsmack:...now to pick out one of the forgotten treasures.

It does have a good pen in the little red boxes , a '50s 400 with a D nib. I don't use my nails....and it's therefor out of sight out of mind for the nail's nail.

The second a solid blue  pen I looked at has an EEF nib..needs a new cork. & a small crack weld.....and sigh cubed....back to out of sight, out of mind....for those 30-40 pens.

Though I do need a new editing pen...EF can be a bit fat....something I'd never dreamed of saying........ok...A real no name nib.... an Artus marked clip (Lamy's very old, regular flex sub brand...Lamy makes mostly nails) ....Swingwitz, fortschrit..(progress).. and the feed looks so dried it looks 'burnt', so that's another expense on that pen. So cheap it has what looks like some sort of rubber clip bands instead of brass.

...May be I can send some Artus feeds.......or slip the nib on another Artus pen needed a bit of fixing.......will talk about that to Francis....real soon.

but had i not been in this thread....that pen would not have come up in my repair list and finishing off the mail for repair box.

Many are Frankie's or third tier or less pens, bought on a cheap and a hope. Hope came up barren.

The good news for my pens:D...in on the first my doctor will talk to my liver..........:crybaby:the bad news for my pens, is I had just discovered a dirt cheap Bavarian beer that costs  six pack priced for a full 20 bottle case of 1/2 liter beer that tastes good.....so months will pass before the money can be saved up.........

Any one got a spare six number pick???

I do double up my speculative investments.....play the lottery twice. ..B)

Counting the repair pens and those lesser used ones in my walnut humidor.....it's more  :wacko:160 or more pens and not the 100 I keep remembering.
