fake mb Fake Starwalker Midnight?

Hey! First time posting here. I bought a couple of months ago a Midnight Black Starwalker for Christmas from an apparently-respectable seller online. But as time passed, I’ve grown suspiscious of It’s authenticity, since the clip has missing “Metal” and “Pix” engravings (only has Made in Germany), and there is a slight attraction to the magnets when I get it close to them. 
 

Is it possible this is a fake? All help is much appreciated!

It would be hard for us to tell you, Unless a member has that pen and compares to your pics. What kind of box did it come in?

Really the only way is that You have to know you bought from a reputable seller. Montblanc sells the Ultra Black for $420, Costco and Norstrom‘s sells them for a little less. Hope you did not pay much for it?
 

Fake Montblanc ballpoints/rollerballs are all over the place and are much harder to detect then a fountain pen.
 

Here is a Starwalker pen for a good fake price.

And they all come in a very nice MB box WITH warranty book!

 

if you have a real box and book you can compare to suspect one and easily tell they are different.

 

Maybe go by a MB boutique or Costco or a Norstrom‘s and see if they have one in store to look at. Usually the fakes don’t quite have the perfect fit and finish like an original MB.

Again I hope you did not pay too much if you feel it’s not authentic. But from the pictures you uploaded the pen looks very nice. So if it walks like a duck………etc

Thank you Omar! I paid $190 for it, so it wasn’t that close to the brand-new price. It included only the box, which felt authentic but I didn’t feel too confident with it, lol. Guess I’ll have to go and compare it with one in the store and check for differences!

They can always place a fake pen in an original box, a lot of people sell their boxes on ebay. I can't comment on the pen as I don't own one of those.
