Hello, my name is Peter and I came across your forum just now from a recommendation by Pablo at FP Nibs.

My love of fountain pens comes from my background as illustrator. When I was accepted to art school at the age of 20 back in 1985, I celebrated this by acquiring a beautiful Mont Blanc 149 Meisterstück with an EF nib. That pen has served me faithfully ever since and until rather recently I thought there were no other pens that could rival it. Lately I have discovered that there are indeed other pens that provide equal but different qualities and sensations, like the wonderful Sailor 1911 with an EF nib and the Pilot Custom 912 adjusted with a Spencerian grind.

From this you may understand that I prefer pens that provide fine lines for my work.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).
