Portugese, anyone?

I'm working on a poem that uses English and Portuguese.  I don't speak Portuguese, though I can follow a fair amount.  I was wondering if anyone fluent could look at some of my lines and tell me it they sound "off" to a native speaker. Will post when I have a finished poem!

Hello, you can send your poem in private if you wish. There are some variations of the Portuguese language in Portugal and the Portuguese used in Brazil. I'm a native Brazilian, if your goal is to use Portuguese from Portugal, there are many nuances that I couldn't identify.
