IBIS Tribute...

It is my understanding that pre-war and war was an ink amber window...post war green.

Well my post war 100n and Ibis have green widows. I think my war CN 100 has amber, but where it is right now...is a mystery.  It was one of the reasons I bid on my last live auction wins.

I had sent it off to be re-gasketed, and nib change & from broken tang to spare CN nib; and all of a sudden I had 6-7 pens back, and was well over my limit of 7 pens inked. I want to use up inks and stay away from having my once normal 17 pens inked.

(Actually my  just back from re-sacking '38 Vac factory stubed nail BB, is higher up the next list than that 100.)

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

The cheapest lessons are from those who learned expensive lessons. Ignorance is best for learning expensive lessons.
