these are new from Jinhao?  I'm guessing the one with slight triangular grip is the X350?

These looks like a screw cap version of their X450 and X750.

That's interesting. I've always wanted a x450 with screw cap. Now I just have to wait for the reviews and the appropriate color model to pop up and will be able to give away my old ones to unsuspecting victims (ahem) students.

+ 1 on the screw cap. I carry a old battered x450 in my trouser pocket on my right hip and it has twice lost its cap in my pocket.

Wow! That must be well worn. My x450s (2) seem to have a moral objection against the cap being taken off.

It met with an accident in June Ted. I dropped it, capped onto a hard floor and the plastic insert in the cap cracked and lost some of its grip. I bodged it with super-glue and the cap is generally quite firm, but it can still let me down. The variables in tugging and friction as I g about my business with this thing in my pocket are legion. I think a reliable screwed cap would be far better from my point of view.

If the seal works fine, I can see the X850 being a perfect EDC pen

EDC pen?

I can't work out the meaning of the acronym.

Which is why I prefer my all-metal Kawecos (Liliput and Sport).

Drats. Not on Amazon yet (01-05-23) .

I don't eBay.

Guess I'll have to get X159's for a screw cap Jinhao.
