Yes and nice looking pens. own in-house nib to, do you know if the Ebonite is raw/polished or "maybe" Urushi or similar lacquer? Only found a couple of reviews the one from "The Gentleman Stationer" reads well and he is apparently stocking one model?

Do you mean the Nahvular (né Narwhal) brand, which beyond any doubt is using OEM pen components from mainland China that are found in other-branded pens?

Yeah, um, that. I've seen no evidence to date that all the manufacturing and finishing of Nahvular's steel nibs is not done in the same factory that produces Moonman/Majohn nibs that go around 6mm-diameter feeds.

I ordered and received a Narwhal Nautilus Maylandia from (the now-defunct) La Couronne du Comte, and when I inspected it and found that its nib unit was glued in place and cannot be removed easily by unscrewing (so that I could do further comparisons, without physically pulling the nib and feed out of the collar/section), I returned it at the vendor's expense for a full refund.

The ebonite body was nicely polished, and has an unusual design, but there is no way I would believe it wasn't a Chinese-made product, and I certainly wasn't happy paying >€100 for that (with a steel nib).

I endeavour to be frank and truthful in what I write, show or otherwise present, when I relate my first-hand experiences that are not independently verifiable; and link to third-party content where I can, when I make a claim or refute a statement of fact in a thread. If there is something you can verify for yourself, I entreat you to do so, and judge for yourself what is right, correct, and valid. I may be wrong, and my position or say-so is no more authoritative and carries no more weight than anyone else's here.

Yes interesting link on FPN about "wording transparency" obviously of Chinese origin, not decrying that, I just like to know if I purchase a "Brand" that is what I'm purchasing and California is California. The Eboya brand (Being part of Nikko) is looking like a/the "True" Ebonite pen!!
