Identify an Eversharp pen (Wahl Oxford-like)

At first glance the pen seems a Wahl Oxford, with the same shape and dimension.

A very beautiful celluloid in red and black veins and gold plated trims, the flat ball clip says "MADE IN USA / EVERSHARP" and nothing more : the cap and barrel imprint is missing  (I mean no one word nor at least letter is present).

The nib is a Wahl Signature 14K

Do you have any other information about this variant ?

Thanks!

I can't be of much help except to confirm that this is a very good looking pen.

Your pen indeed looks like a late 1930s Wahl-Oxford 'Special' or 'Select-O-Point' pen but the red striated colour is not mentioned in any ad or catalog that I have. There is a 1938 "Red Pearl" Wahl-Oxford Special but the design pattern seems to be 'marble red' rather than 'striated red'. The pictured pens also have an ink window in the section, which is not seen on your pen. I guess that the Signature nib on your pen might not be original so maybe also the section could be a replacement.
