Could someone please help identifying this pen?

This is a re-post as I originally published it a couple of weeks ago in the India focused forum, but it had just a couple of answers there, so I was probably wrong in my focus and I hope it gets a bigger number of answers here:

I have just acquired this nice pen but, unfortunately it shows no markings allowing its identification . The only clue that I can find is some sort of text (?) appearing as embedded in the body near the cap threads.

The pen capped measures 13.5cm and is quite well finished.

I have posted this request for help in this forum as it reminds me of some pens made in India, and some of the characters seem Hindi (?) to me, but I am not at all sure of that.

Hope the pictures are somewhat useful for identification purposes.

Thank you in advance.

Can't help you, but it is a vibrant pen.

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

Agreed...but I have no idea.  However, I 'm confident someone out there does.

Thank you Bo Bo and Cliff for your comments.

It is indeed a very attractive pen and it writes beautyfully, which makes it even more frustrating  not being able to identify it properly. Hopefully someone will be able to bring some light on the subject.

I have continued my investigations and I think I have solved the mistery: This pen belongs to a Fountain Pen collection, from publishing house Planeta-Deagostini, which was sold at press kiosks a few years ago. This precise model honours Van Gogh (the colours used really remind some of his paintings)

This leads to the conclusion that it is a chinese pen and, probably, made by Jinhao as some other models from the collection resemble several of their current models.

This are my conclusions and I think I can now close the issue of the identification.

 There are many pens that only adequate writers.

Is it a standard sized pen, P-75, Esterbrook DJ or Pelikan 200/400 or larger?

Size makes a big difference in balance. Hows the balance....posted?

It measures 13cm closed and 15.5cm posted (it posts securely).

In terms of diameter, it is 15,5mm at the cap, 14.0mm at the body and 9,9mm at the gripping (central) area of the section.

Therefore a tad longer than the Pelikans but clearly girthier and heavier (18,3gr)

It really feels quite comfortable to write with 😊
