Esterbrook Anomoly??

Newbie here. First post, but I've been following for many months.

I have an Esterbrook cx-100 which I'm cleaning up to re-sell. I did a search to identify it and looked at dozens of different Esterbrooks on various sites. My main question is regarding the orientation of the word "ESTERBROOK" on the clip. All the examples I found online had the word written from the bottom of the clip toward the top. On my pen the word is written from the top of the clip to the bottom. This seems rather rare, and I'd like to know the reason.

Secondary question (while I've got you  here 😉) the cap posts very loosely, and falls off easily. Is this common on this model? Fix? I assume it involves removing the clutch ring(?) from tghe cap and/or repositioning.

Do you have any pictures?  I have seen mis-stamped pieces on Esterbrook pens from time to time.  I have a Phaeton 300 that has only half the "Esterbrook" on the cap ring.

Otherwise, I'm going with the left-handed pen...charge more for it..  😎
