OMG---Atlas ships really fast---just ordered maybe 2 hours ago and is due Friday.

I could not pass an additional 10% off a Pelikan already on sale---that red and white one--I call it Christmasy---got some LEnnon Forest Green ink as well.

I ordered broad so I can try it out.  Some of my medium nib pens I call a fine---thinking of you Sailor and to a lesser extent, Platinum.

Then there was the doorbuster price on that sweet chrome trimmed Aurora in blue marble (med nib).  Just got a blue ink for it from Monteverde.

So pens 8 and 9 soon here--I am going way too fast..LOL..help?  haha

But I still need an Omas, an Ottohut, a Waterman and a Visconti...and then some sort of wood made pen from one of the botique makers.

And that would still mean space for another 9...

I guess one could say I'm a few short of halfway...   btu somehow I think the number that makes 100% for me will over time GROOOOWWWW.

The Atlas order arrived to my downtown office today where a secretary signed for it.  I will go in tomorrow and ink them.

I just ordered a Pilot 91 M in Tsuki-yo blue. I owned one in 2017 in FM, and I just got a 91 in FM in the dark blue with black, but sometimes it's nice to have the M nib. I have the dark blue with Kon-Peki and I'll keep the Tsuki-yo with Ama-iro in it. Or I might buy some Tsuki-yo and see how good a match it is ;)

Today I ordered an Aurora 88 Large Black with Gold trim 14k F nib. Chatterley had one on consignment with box and papers for a good price. It will go nice with my Optima <M> and Talentum <B>. I would rather have one with the chrome trim but it's the way things go. I don't feel like paying for a new one right now.

A Violet Platinum Preppy Fine nib for my 11-year-old daughter. I've given up on her giving back my Blue Platinum Preppy and has already hinted of asking me to refill it with a different color once she runs it dry. I don't know why the Pilot Kakuno just didn't grab her fancy, but then as someone once said in a pen review: "The pens that we like, we like. It's hard to explain why."

Oh, are those the ones that have the faces engraved on the nibs?  Maybe she thought that they were just too "kiddie" for her?  (Says the adult who -- when seeing the Parker Vector "Puss in Boots" pen from the Shrek movies for sale on eBay a few years ago -- said, "OMG!  WANT!  MUST HAAAAAAAVE!" )

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Yes the Pilot Kakuno has the faces on them. I think she just used it for a week to learn which way the nib should face.

Well I just bought a Jinhao X159 in black/gold with a Medium nib.

because it was less than $9, and it's the same as a Montblanc 149 right? Right?  ROFL.

Nah just for fun to try the size.
