Nice coincidence. I have a celluloid 556/F with Extra Lucens nib on the way. Hope you enjoy your new OMAS when it arrives.

thank you ruby.monkey. I have an Omas Gentleman already and have been eyeing a 'lucens' for some time and decided to go for this one with a spiralled transparency. Enjoy your 556/F too

Parker 51 Vacumatic F nib, Cedar Blue with the stacked coins cap. It will join my Dove Grey vac in the rotation. I love these pens, they are sturdy and hold a lot of ink.

I have just purchased a Pelikan Pura in a medium nib. The deal was too tempting to pass up at €40 on a sale for a new pen. It will be my first Pelikan in my collection even though it is not one of the Souveran line pens.

Thank you ! It is a departure for Pelikan from their classic Souveran line pens in both form and function as this is a cartridge/converter pen that takes a standard international cartridge or converter and is fitted with a stainless steel nib instead of the gold nibs found in their Souveran line.

I haven't tried this one before buying, and this seems to be one of the lesser spotted Pelikan pens even in the pen reviews world, so it will be interesting to open it up and test it when it arrives !

I’m waiting for a Vintage Parker 75 Cisele, and a vintage Sonnet Blue Laque (does 30+ years count as vintage?).

It’s an excellent pen, well-made and sturdy and very nice writing experience. I have the brushed Al version with B nib. Stays at my office so I always have a FP with blue ink for signatures. Be aware the Pelikan cartridges and converters are long. Needed because of the way the pen body helps hold them in place. Pelikan cartridges obviously work and (I believe) Schmidt? There’s info on FPN. I use Edelstein cartridges in mine and they’re perfect.

I bought two Jinhao 100s last year and was pleasantly surprised at how good they were. One needed a very slight teak of the nib but they both write well now. I hope you have the same good experience!

A Gioia Metis Terra di Napoli, medium nib. It was very reasonably priced on The Paper Mind web site so I ordered it from there rather than within the EU where it was a lot more expensive! (I realise I'll have to fork out VAT when it arrives in Ireland, but even then I think it comes in below that EU priced ones I found on line).
