What pen(s) are you waiting for in the mail?

I've been taking advantage of the weak yen right now, just ordered a Platinum 3776 in Chartres Blue with SF nib, Sailor Pro Gear 21k F with silver trim, and a Sailor Luminous Shadow (King of Pen) in blue with M nib. The Pro Gear should arrive tomorrow, the Luminous Shadow next week, and the 3776 by mid June.

I'm also waiting for some vintage Pelikan P10 Twists that should arrive next week as well.

Still waiting with bated breath (only slightly) for the FPUK special edition that hopefully will arrive soon.  It is blue and I need another blue pen.

The refund came in the form of an Amazon gift card in the full amount. So I have to spend that refund on amazon.

Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, as my old granny would say. Still disappointing though.

I’m waiting on a TWSBI Diamond Mini clear with 1.1mm stub nib.

It arrived today. I put J Herbin Lierre Sauvage in it.

Meanwhile, I was looking to see what TWSBI Diamond Minis were on Amazon. I saw the TWSBI Go last night. Today, using my “gift card” money, I ordered one in clear for my brother, who came to help with our Mom, and one in smoke for me. Perhaps they will be geocache pens.

The TWSBI Go's and Swipe's are a cheaper and easier way to get replacement nibs for most of the other TWSBI models. It is easier to pull out the nib and feed out of these pens so the danger of damaging the fins on the feed goes down dramatically, so these make great donor pens.

Yes, that colour combination caught my eyes. 😁

Congratulations on ordering a Cafe Creme. I really like mine very much. Do you have a first ink planned for yours?

Nice!  What's the nib you're getting on it?

I was thinking about it. I'm not sure. Since I do not have any inks close to brown, I might go with Iroshizuku Kon - Peki....

I was waiting for this pen because it was not available with the M nib. Now it is. The fine nibs on my other Pelikans seem a little too fine for my taste. It should arrive on Friday and I can not wait....😊

I like Kon-peki a lot.  But it may be too wet an ink for the pen (Pelikans tend to write pretty wet).

My first bird was a 1990s era M400 Brown Tortoise, with an F nib.  And my original plan was to use it for drawing.  Put Iroshizuku Yama-guri in it and it was a FIREHOSE.  But Edelstein Smoky Quartz (which is pretty close in color to Yama-guri) worked much better.  And that pen actually SAVED a bottle of Noodler's Walnut, which is a pretty dry ink, and I didn't realize that the first pen I put it in -- a Platinum Plaisir, with the old-style coated nibs to match the barrel color -- was a very dry writer.

The sterling Ciselés are drop dead gorgeous.  My only problem with mine (I don't think I have an 18K nib, just a regular 14K one) is that it looks too good with *expensive ink* coming out out of (the MB Jimi Hendrix homage ink).
